Biography

Nate aka Dj N8TRIXX has been spinning underground house, trance and break beats for the last 7 years. Playing in the US, Canada, Europe and St. Maarten in the Carribean. He became interested in the underground scene after going to a now famous Love-In in 1993 at NASA on Hudson St., NYC. He began djing in 1994 at the Marist College radio station, near New York City. When he left college he started playing more and more underground music mainly the Chemical Brothers, Underworld, The Orb and Prodigy. Then in the earlier part of 1997 he got his first pair of Tech 1200's and a crate of house records. Since that time he has been spinning with the most influential Dj's in the world. The likes of Paul Oakenfold, BK, Dj Icey, Micro, Bam Bam, Grant Plant, Frankie Bones, Hardware, Kimball Collins, Vinylgroover, Jon The Dentist, Commander Tom, Andy Farley, Nick Sentience, Sandra Collins, Ak1200, Dieselboy, J. Smooth, Lori the HiFi Princess, Dj RIP, Josh Collins, Dj Rap, Czech, Dara, Josh Da Funky 1, Polywog, Paladin, Dr.Trance, Deko-Ze, OS/2, Stretch & Hooker, S4, Gilligan, Rob G, Chris Liberator, Marty Mcfly, Tek, Catatonic, Scott Stubbs, Dj Trick, Erik James, J.Scott Molenda, Skoobie, Joe Zapp(RIP), Pak Man and DJay-Zell to name a few.

He has produced several traxx in these 7 years like "Sound Of The DJ" co-produced with Drastik, which appears on DRASTIK MEASURES on Blue Chip Records(NYC), "Face the Drum" (which has remained in the Top 30 on electronicscene.com for the past 12 months reaching a peak chart place of 2nd), "We Remember", "The Bass", "Breaky Horn Yo", and the crowd pleaser "Soul Divider"(which made it to MP3.com's Top 20 for Trance) all on www.djn8trixx.com or www.n8trixx.com. He has played at the most influential clubs in the surrounding area, with residencies at many of them. He has released seven mix cds- Trixx Mix 2.3, Trixx Mix 3.0, Full On Mix, New Trancension, A New Beginning, Trance Force Part I, and Dj N8TRIXX live in Boston all available on his website www.n8trixx.com. Currently he is the main resident at Six-Five-Eight, 658 Main St. in Buffalo, for Trance Force Presents Sound Escape. Hosting out town talent every Saturday night. Keeping fridays open to play parties. He was ranked 218 out of 12230 Djs internationally on thedjlist.com for 2001. In 2002 he was ranked 223 out of 22435 Dj's in the world. This past year 2003 he was ranked 219 out of 28677 dj's worldwide. Also, he owns his own production/promotion company Trance Force which books Dj's from all over the world.
